The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that it is going to organize a ‘CBSE Science Challenge 2024-25’ for students of classes 8th to 10th, according to an official circular. The ‘CBSE Science Challenge’ aims to ignite curiosity, promote inquiry-based learning, and encourage higher-order thinking skills among students. Scheduled to be held on the CBSE platform during April and May 2024, the theme of the challenge revolves around “Science, Environment, and Sustainability.”

The CBSE Science Challenge comprises two rounds: intra-school and inter-school, with free participation. Students in classes 8 to 10 of CBSE-affiliated schools are eligible for Round One, requiring school registration. In Round Two, each school can nominate six students (the top two from each class in Round One). Round Two participants will receive online participation certificates, and outstanding students will earn Appreciation Certificates.
