Chancellor’s scholarship offered to Indian students at the University of Birmingham

A fully funded scholarship including accommodation expenses is being offered to Indian students at the University of Birmingham. Applications are now being invited and interested students can apply at the official website i.e, www.brimingham.ac.uk.

Indian students seeking opportunities in post-graduation programmes from the Birmingham and Dubai campuses of the University can apply for the scholarship scheme.

The winner of the scholarship will be presented with fully funded tuition and accommodation cost for the duration of the programme. Apart from the winner, a tuition fee waiver of £5,000 will be awarded to four runner-ups.

For application, the student must own a valid offer from the University of Birmingham. Last round of the selection process, the selected student is to answer two questions:

  • What challenges have you overcome in life?
  • What innovation would you suggest to solve a challenge faced by India and the UK?

According to the official notification, the eligibility criteria for application are that “Candidates should have an excellent academic track record and demonstrate that they have overcome challenging circumstances. They should also have an innovative idea that can solve some of the complex challenges facing both the UK and India.”
