Escomia Academy and Sriram Public School, Kidwai Nagar leading with 6 points together after 3 rounds of KSS Zone B junior. It includes boys from grades 6 to 8 in the chess championship played at Oxford Model School, Shyam Nagar on Friday, 25th August.
Around 125 students from 24 different schools are taking part in this event. This event has been initiated by lighting lamps by Poonam Nigam, the additional commissioner. Moreover, Ashish Sharma, manager of the school greeted Vijay Laxmi Sharma, special guest and chief guest.
After 3 rounds, the point positions of different schools are 4 points to KDMA International Barra, 4 points to Harmilap Mission School, Ratanlal Nagar, 5 points to Army School, and 5 points to Sriram Education Centre Panki.
In addition to this, the District Football Association will hold the inter-regional junior women’s state football championship at Green Park on 28th August at 2 p.m. As per Ajit Singh, Secretary of the District Football Association, interested players need to be born between 1st January 2007 and 31st December 2009. Participants are needed to bring their original documents, such as birth certificate, Aadhar card, and 2 photographs. They are required to contact Asif Iqbal, Muskan Mishra, or Amit Narang.
