The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha publishes 2023-24 highlighting major details about upcoming examinations of plus 2 in 2024.
Plus 2 examinations are scheduled from 14th February to 13th March 2024 in 2 shifts by CHSE Odisha. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 pm, while the second shift will be from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The practical examinations have been set for the 1st week of January. All students are required to have 30% in every subject and 33% as an overall percentage for passing. Results are expected in the month of April or May 2024. Basudev Chhatoi, CHSE Chairman helps in this initiative for benefiting students in their preparations as well as admissions.
Form filling process for examinations will be conducted between 10th November to 25th November 2023.
As per experts, this decision of holding examinations for plus 2 in February gets affected by the upcoming general election of 2024. According to them, this scheduling offers different advantages as students can focus on their examination preparations following the test examinations that are going to be held in December. Holding examinations in the month of February can lead to earlier declaration of results and thus, lead to enabling admissions of summer vacation and timely starting of academic events on reopening.
