The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the results for the 2024 Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams on May 6, 2024. The pass rate for Class 12 this year is 98.19%, while for Class 10, it is 99.47%.
The examinations for both Class 10 and 12 began on February 21, 2024 and were initially set to end on April 3, 2024. However, due to the rescheduling of two papers, the exams concluded a day later on April 4, 2024. Students can check their results by visiting cisce.org and results.cisce.org.
CISCE ISC Pass Percentages:
- Overall: 98.19%
- Girls: 98.92%
- Boys: 97.53%
CISCE ICSE Pass Percentages:
- Overall: 99.47%
- Girls: 99.65%
- Boys: 99.31%
In both categories, girls have outperformed boys.
In 2024, the board has decided not to declare any toppers for both Class 10 and 12 to prevent ‘unhealthy competition’ among students.
