Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been invited by the United Nations (UN) to deliver a keynote address at an event, titled ‘Financing Sustainable Agriculture: Global Challenges and Opportunities’ – to be organized on the sideline of the annual UN General Assembly in New York on September 24.
The United Nations Environment Programme Executive Director Erik Solheim praised the Andhra Pradesh government in a letter, for “delivering transformative environmental, social and economic impact through its pioneering Zero Budget Natural Farming Programme”. CM Chandrababu Naidu is encouraging organic farming in the state with zero budget concept and UNO has asked Chandrababu to address in UNO on this subject.
