I have been into the field of education for more than three decades and as Principal of Aps Golconda for about 16 years.
In a school , Principal is often cast as responsible for influencing or creating a school culture and climate for change.
School culture is a powerful force that can support school change efforts.
In my journey of 16 years as a founder Principal of the school I have initiated numerous projects and have been a pioneer in initiating new ventures.
The base indicators of any school are its inspiring infrastructure,professional standards of teachers, academic excellence, successful Alumni, and above all a conducive learning environment for student growth and development. In this new era of education,teachers also must learn, unlearn and relearn.
Provision of adequate opportunities and freedom to experiment and learn is what I created for my students and teachers at Aps Golconda. This has created a positive learning culture where learning from one another and collaboration are the key ingredients of progress. I have deliberated more on the processes and not on the end result, which has motivated the learning community. Therfore learning is a process at Aps Golconda.
The stake holders believe in the shared vision of the school and their contribution to the school development goals has led Aps Golconda to succeed in all spheres of activities. Aps Golconda stands first All India in Acadenmic excellence at the national level of Army welfare education Society. The students have participated in various National CBSE games and sports and science exhibition.
The Dynamic nature of the school is evident from the fact that the learning community of students and teachers are open to new ideas and embrace change which is inevitable. This made the arduous journey as a pioneer in the integration of technology in every aspect of teaching learning smooth and welcome. Robotics lab and Interactive Flat panels in classrooms
are worthy of mention.
This open learning culture has increased level of confidence, improved professional development and training and excitement about the way technology can enhance learning. Therefore my journey as a pedagogical leader has been the one which not only unleashed creativity potential and also also created a strong team of educators who are resilient and embrace change . This journey has touched the lives of students,teachers and the entire school community.
