Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati – saint, social reformer, educationist and a visionary founded Arya Samaj in 1875, He realised that the salvation of the country lay in educating the masses. To achieve this cherished goal, a group of socially oriented people formed the Dayanand Anglo Vedic College Trust and Management society. This was the beginning of the DAV Movement which laid the foundation of the present vast network of DAV Institutions.
