Delhi Government launched DMVS for school students

by

The Delhi government, headed by Arvind Kejriwal, has introduced the Delhi Model Virtual School (DMVS), while considering the disruptions caused by weather and the COVID pandemic in recent years.

Delhi Education Minister Atishi shared on her official ‘X’ account, the Delhi Model Virtual School, under the Arvind Kejriwal government, aligns with their goal of delivering quality education to every child, extending beyond the last mile. She had the opportunity to virtually attend a math class and interact with the students during her visit to the school.

The objective of DMVS is to establish a hybrid schooling model to ensure that students’ education remains unaffected by weather conditions.  The Education Minister declared that through cutting-edge studio and trained teachers, their virtual school conducts live classes and provides digital resources to its students.

DMVS is taking steps to transform all Delhi government schools into a hybrid model, offering both offline and online teaching-learning options. This move aims to safeguard children’s education in case the government needs to close schools due to unpredictable weather conditions.

Furthermore, students in Delhi government schools can utilize this platform to prepare for JEE, NEET UG, and CUET UG.
