In its endeavour to improve the quality of education in government schools, the Delhi Education Department has announced the commencement of Robotics Training for government school teachers. The training workshop will be commencing from 9 October 2023.
This robotics training will be part of the refresher programme under which 260 Delhi government school teachers will be receiving training in robotics. The workshop will help teachers understand the foundational concepts of robotics. It will also equip the teachers with technical knowledge required to assist students in projects and curriculum.
For the first time, Delhi Robotics League was held for students in the city’s school, this year. The training will be conducted in hybrid mode. According to circular, a demonstration will be provided in one of the 260 selected schools. The demonstration will be on the process of installing the lab. The students will be provided with high quality informative videos of the whole process. The videos will also be streamed on the Youtube channel. Online and offline support will be provided for schools through a dedicated technical helpdesk for completing the installation. Wherever the labs are not functioning, cluster-based training will be provided.
In the training, the teachers will be taught to assemble the cart, practice its movement, introduction to Arduino and its specifications, working principle of ultrasonic sensors, principles of Bluetooth module and details pertaining to series and parallel circuits.
