The Delhi government has initiated the recruitment process for 75 new CM Shri schools, which are set to become operational within the next year. Aimed at transforming public education, these schools will feature upgraded infrastructure, modern facilities, and enhanced teaching environments.
As per a circular issued by the Directorate of Education, the recruitment will be conducted primarily through a transfer process. Existing teachers in Delhi government schools are eligible to apply and may seek transfer to these upcoming institutions by participating in a special interface round.
Key Details of the Recruitment Drive:
- Total schools: 75 CM Shri schools to open within one year
- Application deadline: June 9, 2025, by 11:59 PM
- Eligibility: Teachers with at least five years remaining before retirement
- Positions available: PGTs, TGTs, PRTs, and other teaching roles
- Application mode: Email submission as per guidelines in the circular
Interface Session Schedule:
- June 11: Primary (PRT) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)
- June 12: Postgraduate Teachers (PGT) and other categories
- Time: From 10:00 AM onwards
An official stated that 12 of the 75 schools will be newly constructed, while the remaining 63 will operate from existing government school buildings, which will be renovated and upgraded to meet CM Shri school standards.
