In a recent ranking by the International Baccalaureate (IB), Mumbai’s Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) emerged as the top IB school globally. DAIS produced 11 top scorers in 2023, each achieving the maximum score of 45 points. Among DAIS’s eleven high achievers are Aama Sanghai, Aamav Gogri, Abhimanyu Pandey, Aaryan Jagtap, Aditya Mehta, Advit Ranawade, Anavi Kaul, Arushi Maheshwari, Drhuv Bhalla, Kshitig Seth, and Vivan Turakhia. After the announcement, the International Baccalaureate (IB) officially acknowledged DAIS as the foremost IB school globally.
According to the International Baccalaureate (IB) website, the scoring system for the IB Diploma Program (IBDP) permits a maximum of 45 points, obtained from six subjects (each with a maximum of 7 points) and an additional three points from the IB Core, consisting of Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), the Extended Essay, and the Theory of Knowledge paper. Less than 1% of candidates achieve the maximum score of 45 each year, earning them the title of ‘Toppers’.
