The 10th Annual Day of DPS International, Gurgaon (DPSI) unfolded as a captivating homage to India’s glorious past, artfully weaving together the nation’s cultural richness with the school’s global learning ethos. Centred on the historic Battle of Haldighati, the celebration paid tribute to Maharana Pratap’s courage, resilience, and patriotism through a compelling blend of dance, music, and storytelling by the students.
Cultural enrichment has always been a cornerstone of the DPSI teaching philosophy, and this year’s celebration brought it to life in spectacular fashion. Through their performances, students not only honoured India’s heritage but also expressed values of determination, sacrifice, and unity — values that remain timeless and integral to the nation’s identity.
The event was graced by Shriji Huzoor Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Ji Mewar of Udaipur, the 77th custodian of the House of Mewar — a 1,500-year-old dynasty synonymous with valour and tradition. Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Ji, who continues his illustrious ancestor Maharana Pratap’s legacy through education, philanthropy, and cultural preservation, joined as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, Pro Vice Chairperson of DPS International, who warmly welcomed him and the guests.
