Dr D. Usha Reddy has been instrumental in shaping the educational philosophy of the Meridian schools which have witnessed spectacular progress under her leadership. A renowned academician she has been conferred the ‘Best Principal’ and ‘Eminent Educationist’ Awards by two Governors of A.P. – and an ex- Governor of Odisha, for her laudable services in the field of education and has received the National Award 2010 from the Honourable President of India, Smt Pratibha Patil. She has been awarded 3 Lifetime achievements, from Radisson Blu, Brainfeed magazine and National School Awards. She is the only Chairperson of the Hyderabad Sahodaya Schools Complex to serve for the second time. She has been the driving force for all the community services undertaken by Meridian School, which has actively participated in undertaking relief work for all Natural Disasters that has struck the country in the last 20 years.
