Dr. Joseph Emmanuel has been appointed as the new Chief Executive and Secretary of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), effective from May 1st, 2024. This announcement was communicated through a formal letter addressed to all Heads of CISCE Affiliated schools, signed by Dr. G Immanuel, Chairman of CISCE. Prior to this role, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel served as the Director (Academics) at the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
As Chief Executive and Secretary, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel is poised to play a pivotal role in overseeing the administration and management of CISCE. This includes ensuring the smooth conduct of examinations, upholding the standards of education and assessment set by the council, and overseeing other key areas essential to the functioning of CISCE.
