This year, a series of festivities are lined up in the month of September. In lieu of the same, schools have been advised to review the school holiday schedule to organize its academic activities. While September 5 marks Teachers Day, September 6 and 7 is Janmashtami, September 19 is Ganesh Chaturthi and September 28 is Id-e-Milad.
Further, the Delhi Government declared September 8 to 10 public holidays for the capital with regard to the G20 summit. All banks, financial institutions and commercial organizations in New Delhi will remain closed. Teachers have been apprehensive about finishing the syllabus due to the long list of holidays. As mid-year exam also approaches, schools need to be well-prepared in planning their academic advance in the coming months.
