Eight new President-approved directors for IITs

The Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) have appointed new directors for some of its branches. This move has been approved by the President of India, Ms. Droupadi Murmu.

Seshadri Shekhar and Shreepad Kamalkar who were professors at IIT Madras, have been appointed as the directors of IIT Palakkad and IIT Bhubaneshwar respectively. Venkayappaya R Desai from IIT Kharagpur has been appointed as the director of IIT Dhardwar. IIT Dhardwar’s erstwhile director Pasumarthy Seshu is now appointed as the director of IIT Goa.

K N Satyanarayana is the new director of IIT Tirupati, while Rajiv Prakash has been appointed as the new director for IIT Bhilai. Rajat Moona is the director of IIT Gandhinagar and Manoj Singh Gaur is appointed as the director for IIT Jammu.
