Dr Thakur Mulchandani, Chairman of UAE Sahodaya Schools Complex has been implementing best practices in schools. According to him, there are a few that need to be adhered to for the successful functioning of a school. On top of the list is offering practical experience including hands-on learning exercises in the classroom. This can involve giving students the chance to use their information in real-world situations through simulations, case studies, role-playing, and other activities.

In this day and age, emphasis on problem solving is important and entrepreneurship skills are needed to resolve issues. Interactive exercises, group talks, and other activities that encourage critical thinking and inventive problem-solving can accomplish this. Helping students develop effective communication skills is essential for entrepreneurship. This can include teaching students how to give presentations, write business emails, and network with potential clients.

Encourage students to think out-of-the-box and come up with creative solutions to problems. Utilize project-based learning activities to teach students how to plan, design, and carry out projects. This will help hone their leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Incorporate technology into the classroom to engage students and make learning more interactive and fun. This will help them develop the skills needed to be successful in the digital age.

Foster a culture of innovation

Provide students with resources such as mentors, books, and online courses to help them become more creative and innovative. Encourage students to take risks and come up with creative solutions to problems. Create an environment where students work together to achieve common goals. Encourage group work and brainstorming sessions to help students develop their teamwork skills and learn to collaborate with others and above all make learning enjoyable and engaging by incorporating games, role-playing, and activities into the classroom. Provide students with hands-on experiences and simulations to help them better understand concepts.

New Ideas to develop a mindset for entrepreneurship

Introduce the concept of entrepreneurship early in the curriculum. This will give students a better understanding of what it takes to be successful. Encourage students to participate in entrepreneurship competitions. Offer workshops and seminars on entrepreneurship, create an entrepreneurship club, establish mentorship programs, organise field trips and company visits to local businesses, connect theory and practice, make them pitch a business plan. Teach students the importance of having an entrepreneurial mindset. This will help them think creatively and take calculated risks when starting their own businesses.

In this day and age, emphasis on problem solving is important and skills for entrepreneurship to resolve issues are a need
