On women power

Girls who have the privilege to go to some schools that practice gender equality or give priority to girl child are very few in number. Even today, among working couples, the women gets back home and do household work while the man watches television.

It is often heard that when it comes to promotion at top levels, few women are able to smoothly move up. Talking about this topic itself proves that we still need to do a lot for gender equality and that women power should be accepted.

It is often found that parent and the teenager girls hesitate talking about right sanitation habits, good touch bad touch. Hence, we facilitate in providing guidance. Encouraging girls for sports activities and public presentations is a prime focus. Girls are encouraged in all activities at the school. For career options we plan to have a special effort for each girl to pursue the dream career.

As Eklavya School of Excellence, we provide career counselling to help them crack all necessary tests. Our girls’ alumni cell will provide them future guidance as well.

On education

I believe learning happens anytime, anywhere and at any age. Over the years, I attended a lot of conferences and seminars. I took pandemic as an opportunity to connect with education per say, attended a lot of workshops and seminars, enhanced my computer designing skills, got more active on social media and read a lot of books, e-books and articles. It actually inspired lot of educational ideas further and we are in the process of updating new age customized curriculum for our school. We developed a strong parent connect program which enables each parent to stay updated with the happenings at school. Our objective is to have happy children with wholesome development and happy parents involved in their child’s education.

On leadership

Leadership is about acting as a catalyst for inspiring thoughts and ideas to be implemented. Empowering teachers and staff is a regular practice. Team building works wonders for all joint efforts required. Focusing on goals helps to be on track and reviewing them permits to understand the pattern of working and what needs to be done further.

I believe in the participation of the last person in the school and they should also be able to suggest for a smooth function of the school. There should be a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
