On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Brainfeed took the opportunity to recognize the efforts of twenty exceptional women leaders in the field of education. We featured them in our cover story “Women Edupreneurs” of March 2023 edition of the Brainfeed Magazine. These women leaders focused and strived for creating a positive ecosystem at their workplace that helped other women in contributing to their fullest and ushering in the much needed change. Each one of these women educational entrepreneurs shared what it took them to successfully complete their entrepreneurial journey during which they have explored and found new identities for themselves and other women working with them.

Every person needs a basic understanding of their finances, more so women as they are often
take up the responsibility for paying the household bills apart from raising children. Not
being able to make sound financial decisions regarding their finances can make them
financially dependent on others. This causes stress within relationships. Financial literacy
can be an excellent tool for women to become more independent and have greater control
over their future.

In the last nine years, IPTTA played a part in the lives of more than 600 women in matters of
financial independence. Of these, 20% have started preschools, day-cares, and afterschool
programs. The others are in higher roles and are getting better remuneration. Our Alumni
support their families and help them live a better life. They have learnt to invest wisely for a
brighter future for their children and to create employment opportunities for others.

“If you can speak, you can influence. If you can influence, you can change lives,” said Rob
Brown. IPTTA’s vision is to be established globally as an effective – teacher training institute
through the quality training program in the early childhood sector. The course is offered to
women between the ages 20 to 50 years. I have trained aspiring candidates, existing
teachers, parents, and children and consulted preschools and guided upcoming school
owners. So far, we have trained more than 1. 6 lakhs beneficiaries (1,61,515 existing early
years teachers, parents and pre-schoolers) and aspiring candidates (622).

We aim to reach out to as many women as possible and train them by making them undergo
a high-quality one-year in-class or online training. We strive to enable their skills in a wide
variety of areas like phonics, puppetry, parenting, storytelling to name a few. They get an
opportunity to learn the theory and the practical knowledge required in the field.

IPTTA is one of the institutes that recognises the needs of the changing trends in the field.
We invite subject experts and academicians to convert our students into industry-ready
individuals and give our students an extra edge by creating opportunities to visit schools for observations.

At IPTTA, we incorporated awareness about financial literacy. Helping women make smart,
intelligent decisions with greater financial insight
