Gaurav Kumawat tops the Rajasthan Board Class 10 exam, while working at a hotel

The Rajasthan Board results were declared on May 29th. Gaurav Kumawat, a diligent student from a middle-class family in Keshav Nagar, Pushkar, achieved an impressive 97 per cent in the Rajasthan Secondary Education Board (RBSE) exams while assisting at his father’s hotel. This outstanding accomplishment underscores that a fervent dedication to learning can overcome any obstacle to academic success.

Gaurav’s daily routine included assisting his father, Ramesh Kumawat, at the hotel after school and handling household chores. Despite these responsibilities, he adhered to a strict study schedule, dedicating early mornings from 5:00 am to 7:00 am and late nights from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am to self-study. He also used any free time during the day for revision. He studies at Praveen Shiksha Niketan School.

In addition to Gaurav, other students, from economically disadvantaged backgrounds at the school, also excelled in the board exams. Pappunath and Bina Bakolia scored 98% and 97% respectively. Ajit Nath from Ganaheda village, achieved the highest score in the Pushkar subdivision with 98.67%. Ajit is the son of a tailor.

Praveen Shiksha Niketan School has emerged as a symbol of excellence in Pushkar, with several students scoring above 93 per cent. The school’s director, Himanshu Kumawat, congratulated the students and their families for their outstanding achievements.
