On May 15, 2024, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) announced the Goa Board class 10 results for the year 2024. This year, the overall pass percentage for the Goa Board class 10 results is 92.38%. A noteworthy trend is the higher success rate among girls compared to boys. Specifically, out of the 9,318 boys who appeared for the exams, 8,556 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 91.82%. On the other hand, out of the 9,596 girls who took the examination, 8,918 girls passed, securing a higher pass percentage of 92.93%. Out of the 18,914 students who took the exam, 17,473 successfully passed. The results of 59 girls and 38 boys are ‘reserved’ as per the Goa Board’s decision. The pass rate among Divyang (Persons With Disabilities) candidates stands at 87.72 per cent, with 407 out of 464 candidates successfully passing. This year, there were four special schools, with two achieving a perfect 100 per cent pass rate and the remaining two achieving 50 per cent and 60 per cent, respectively.
