Google makes blogging easier for Indians by launching this app

Google is working hard on bringing new services and features in its app for Indians. Now, it has taken a step forward in making the lives of Indian bloggers a bit easier by launching a new app called ‘Blog Compass’. The app for now is in beta stages and is already up on Google Play Store. The listing clearly mentions that the app is ‘only available in India’.

The listing says that the Blog Compass app will help bloggers manage their websites and will let them find topics that are trending on Google. The topic suggestions will be based on the bloggers’ interest and their post history. In addition, the app will give bloggers tips on SEO, how they can get their website on Google search pages and make them familiar with webmaster guidelines.

In addition to this, they can track the statistics of their website, approve comments made on articles and get tips on how to make their blogs better. The app is compatible with WordPress and Blogger.com websites. As for the compatibility, Android version 4.4 and later versions should be able to run the app just fine.

Google has recently launched other apps in India, catering to different sections. Recently, it renamed the Tez by Google app to Google Pay. This was just one of the announcements that the firm made at its recent Google for India event. The firm talked about Android Pie Go Edition will have better security, increased storage and more.

In addition, Google announced that its Assistant will support local apps as well. Google Go to soon read out the internet in Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil.

The search giant added that its Google Station has partnered with Andhra Pradesh State FiberNet Limited to bring Google Station to over 12 thousand villages, towns and cities in the state.
