Grandma’s Garden

by admin

One fine day in a small village called Rampur, lived a boy named Asif. He loved his village and its greens. Asif’s grandmother lived in the town nearby. Unlike Rampur, Gujjara didn’t have a lot of green spots. However, the old lady had a lovely garden that she so patiently and lovingly nurtured. Flowers of different kinds bloomed all seasons. It was a haven for birds and butterflies.

One summer, Asif’s grandma fell really sick. “There is no one to take care of me and my plants now”, she thought. Days went by and the old lady saw her flowers wither to the scorching sun. After hearing about nani’s illness, Asif and his parents came to look after the old lady. Asif who was once mesmerized with the garden, saw the dry twigs of the plants and immediately fell sad.

He loved the vibrant flowers that grandma grew in her garden. Looking back, he wanted everything to be like before. He ardently took care of his grandma and her garden. Soon, both looked fresh as ever! Grandma was again on her toes and the flowers in her garden swayed in crisp sunlight! Asif had done a great job! Another summer came, and it was more vibrant and colourful than the previous one.

Moral: Care for every big and small things in life! They bring you ultimate happiness!
