The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) is set to announce the 2024 Class 12 HSC Science results today, May 3, 2024. Students can check their results on the board’s official website at gseb.org.
In 2024, approximately 400,000 students took the Gujarat Board HSC science examinations. The 2024 GSEB HSC science exams started on March 11, 2024 with sessions running from 10:30 am to 1:45 pm and from 3 pm to 6:15 pm. Although the results are expected to be released today, May 3, 2024, there has been no official statement from the board as of yet.
Students will need to achieve at least a 33% mark in each subject and overall to pass. In March, GSEB provided the answer keys for subjects including mathematics, chemistry, physical science, and life science. Typically, the results for the science stream are released before those of the arts and commerce streams, reflecting a pattern observed in previous years.
The detailed grading system includes : –
- A1 Grade : 90% or above
- A2 Grade : 80% to 90%
- B1 Grade : 71% to 80 %
- B2 Grade : 61% to 70%
In 2024, more than 4.7 lakh students had appeared for the intermediate examination. If students face potential traffic in the official website, they will be able to check their results in SMS. Steps to check scorecards via SMS : –
- A candidate needs to compose a text message on their mobile device
- Then they need to type “GJ12S” with a space and then enter their roll number
- They need to send the message to the number- 58888111
- They will receive their results on their mobile number
- Its advised to save it for future reference

- Find the link labeled “HSC Science Result” on the homepage and click on it
- A new window will come, where a candidate will have to put their roll number and Date of Birth
- After entering the information, they need to click on the “submit” button
- The GSEB Class 12th Result will be displayed on the screen
- Its suggested to download it and print it for future reference
