The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) released the 2024 HSC results for both the Science and general streams on May 9, 2024. Students can check their results on the official website, gseb.org. The Gujarat Board held the class 12 exams for all streams, including science and general, from March 11 to March 26, 2024. The science stream saw an overall pass rate of 82.45%, marking an increase from last year’s pass rate of 65.58%. Similarly, the general stream’s pass rate rose to 91.93% from 73.27% in 2023.
Students can view the Gujarat board results on the official website at gseb.org. To get the scorecard, candidates should click on the “Examination Results” section on the homepage, then select “Senior Secondary Annual Examination 2024.” From there, they need to choose the relevant subject and enter their roll number and roll code in the required fields.
After clicking ‘submit,’ the scorecard will appear on the screen. It is recommended to download and save the scorecard for future use.
The Class 12 board exams for commerce were held at 192 centers, while the science exams took place at 74 centers. In 2023, the overall pass rate for the Gujarat Board Class 12 Science stream was 65.58%. Students in English medium schools outperformed those in Gujarati medium schools, with a pass rate of 67.18%. Meanwhile, 65.32% of students from Gujarati medium schools passed the HSC Science stream exams in 2023.
