The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) in Gandhinagar has published the academic calendar for the 2024-25 school year for both Class 10 and Class 12. Students can see and download the calendar from the official GSHSEB website at gseb.org.
The calendar states that the board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 will begin on February 27 and end on March 13, 2025. It also provides important information such as exam dates, holidays, vacation dates, and the number of working days. The calendar also mentions that the first set of exams for Classes 9 to 12 will begin on October 14, 2024 and conclude on October 23., 2024. The annual examinations for Classes 9 and 11 are scheduled from April 7 to April 19, 2025.
The datasheet for the Gujarat Board’s SSC and HSC exams is expected to be released in October, 2024. The annual board exams will be held from February 27 to March 13, 2025. School-level board exams for both theoretical and practical subjects will take place between December 31, 2024 and February 4, 2024.
According to the official website, the Diwali vacation will last 20 days, from October 20 to November 17, 2024. Additionally, the summer vacation will run from May 5, 2025, to June 8, 2025, to a total of 35 days.
According to the GSEB notification, the academic session will include a total of 80 holidays, consisting of 18 public holidays and 6 local holidays. Students will have 243 working days throughout the session.
