This platform has the capability to change the entire education system. Now the students need not know the topic, understand it well to apply and get the answer on their own. ChatGPT will do this for our students. Thus we can say the first three levels of learning in Blooms Taxonomy is not required for our students. The learners of new generation will start their learning from next level of Blooms Taxonomy which comes under ‘Higher Order’ thinking: Analysing, Evaluating and Creating.
The answers obtained by ChatGPT need to be analysed and evaluated for creating new knowledge. This part has to be taken up by our students of the coming generation. Therefore, our teaching-learning process should be redesigned and focused to develop higher order thinking among the students. All the six levels of learning had been the objective of our teaching-learning process in the existing education system. Now half of it has been taken care by ChatGPT and reduced the load and changed the role of the teacher of new generation.
