There are three ways in which our school is majorly using AI. Topping the charts is reading skills remediation support through ChatGPT. The Special Educator and English teacher as a team use it to improve the reading ability of struggling students. ChatGPT helps them with reading passages or stories on specific topics. The other one is for classroom assessment. Teachers frequently use AI tools after a topic or lesson has been discussed to generate various test items to assess students’ knowledge and understanding of a given topic. It is used to generate math and science problems, reading comprehension passages, responses, etc. We are also using Copy.ai to create more wholesome social media posts for activities that happen as per the activity calendar schedule.
