Technology has ensured greater access to resources to both teachers as well as students. In spite of distractions in classroom, technology is here to stay. We educators have to understand that our students are all digital natives; hence we should welcome AI in the future of learning and teaching.
Teachers should use ChatGPT for extra resources. They can share the topic that has to be taught to the students and in the form of group discussion or flipped class the chapter can be completed in a very short time. Teachers will only guide students to converge all the knowledge gained by the prescribed syllabus. This game changer for education can help teachers streamline their most time-consuming task. Hence, teachers get more time to create engaging lesson plans and are able to focus more on students’ learning.
For students, ChatGPT is an incredible and useful tool. We mention adaptive learning to be encouraged in school. ChatGPT, if used effectively by students, rather than using the chat bot to cheat, can encourage Personalised Learning which is the best form of learning to understand concepts better.
