We believe in keeping students and teachers abreast with the changing times and ensure adequate positive usage of AI in this new normal. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has found diverse applications in our school, benefiting both students and teachers. Students utilize AI tools like ‘Sketch meta demo lab’, ‘Quickdraw’, ‘Dall-e-2’, ‘Mid Journey’, ‘Pic Wish’ and ‘Stable diffusion’ to explore their creativity in different areas by transforming sketches into animated pictures, converting imagination into reality and designing personalized comic strips. Additionally, AI-powered tools like ChatGPT assist them in various tasks such as research work, data analysis, converting speech to text, proving valuables for students with learning difficulties. Website creators like ‘HeyLeia’ is used to generate websites in less than five minutes.
Teachers leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to create itineraries, worksheets, and drama scripts efficiently, while also generating question papers with reading comprehension aid. Furthermore, ‘BARD’ allows them to enhance presentations. ‘Descript’ is used to update social media. Teachers also use AI based tools like Semantris – a vocabulary game, Emoji Scavenger Hunt – identifies emotions through neural networks, Quick draw where students are asked to draw from their imagination and use AI to guess what the drawing represents and few more tools like Nearpod, Affinity and so on.
AI in our school extends beyond creativity and content generation. It also supports educational projects, with ‘Google teachable machine’ enabling students to delve into machine learning by recognizing images, sounds, and poses. Overall, AI has become an integral part of our school’s educational ecosyste.
