Meet the Record-Holders
1. Gangone Dhrithi
Just eight years old, Dhrithi from Pallavi Model School, Alwal, wowed everyone with her agility and confidence. She earned a place in the record books by completing 20 knee-to-elbow steps in 30 seconds in the under-16 category. Her teachers and parents credited her strong sense of balance, confidence, and dedication to consistent practice. Dhrithi is also a regular participant in inter-school competitions and citywide cultural events.
2. M. Anjana Sree
A Grade 9 student, Anjana Sree shared her excitement about the journey:
“Being part of a Guinness World Record was once unimaginable, but now it’s a reality. It all started when our Kuchipudi mentor spoke about this special opportunity. We worked tirelessly for months to prepare for this massive performance.”
She described the moment they found out they had set the record as “unforgettable,” and added:
“It’s more than a personal achievement — it’s proof that dedication, resilience, and passion can turn dreams into reality.”
She received her Guinness certificate and medal after an 18-month wait, alongside her classmates and close friend Hamsini, who also participated in the performance.
3. Hamsini
Another student from the same academy also successfully met the performance criteria, securing their spot as a co-holder of the prestigious record.
