The President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Aniket S Talati, declared during a press conference that ICAI is set to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). He announced that the formal agreement between ICAI and CBSE will be signed on February 8.
As part of this collaboration, ICAI aims to offer career counseling in CBSE schools, to make students aware about the Chartered Accountancy course and the potential career prospects available after completion of this professional course. Additionally, ICAI will create educational content, including modules and videos, for CBSE-affiliated schools. This significant development was disclosed at the National Education Summit on Commerce & Accountancy (NES-CA), organized by ICAI on January 22 and 23 in New Delhi.
