International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-H) in Hyderabad has recorded higher median salaries for BTech graduates than top tech schools. The institute stands 38 ranks below India’s top BTech school i.e. IIT Madras, as revealed by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
Median salary for graduates from IIT Madras was Rs 13.06 lakh while students from IIIT-H bagged Rs 20.35 lakh, at least four lakh more. The statistical middle figure which is arrived at after all students’ offers are ranked in an increasing order is known as the median salary.
