Engineering aspirants will soon be able to pursue a BTech in Hindi at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur. The Ministry of Education announced on July 9, 2024 that a proposal to this regard has been approved.

Admission will be done on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced 2024) score.

Classes will start in the upcoming academic year. Before the session begins, IIT Jodhpur will organize two sections based on language preference. Additionally, in 2021, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved 11 BTech courses to be taught in regional languages in India.
