The old method of chalk and talk restricts the understanding of a critical issue/ topic to the theoretical level. The new first hand learning method makes the learners feel connected to the topic. It paves the way to portray abstract theories as those that are very much tangible. For a greater extent of understanding various tools like- Desmos, Geogebra (a blend of Geometry and Algebra), models are extensively used at Singhania Public School.

The Jigsaw strategy of teaching is a magnificent phenomenon which focuses on cooperative learning where students’ listening, speaking, communication and problem solving skills are enhanced. It presents students with an opportunity to teach others and supports the motto ‘While we teach, we learn’.

One of the most important aspect of innovative teaching strategies is to transgress the boundaries between different subjects. Instructions given by the teachers should be filled with an interdisciplinary approach which will make learners enthusiastic about connecting the dots from different subjects. At Singhania Public School, the teachers are trained to teach this way so as to make the learning process more enjoyable and engaging. The interdependence of the subjects makes learning more interesting for learners.

Needless to say all these strategies and methods are there to provide the learners with optimum level of opportunities so that they would be able to cope with the skills required for becoming competent to survive in the journey of life. To this end, it is truly delightful to have warm and positive feedback from the students as well as the guardians.
