Yoga is the training of the mind and body for the betterment of self. Regular practice of yoga provides a wide range of benefits such as low stress levels, improved concentration, better heart health and fitter and pain free bodies. During the school assembly, the students gathered in the school ground and performed simple asanas. The benefits of each asana were spoken about. Everyone felt refreshed and healthier after being a part of this short yoga flow and pledged to continue their yoga practice regularly.

Music is the strongest medium for the expression of emotions. It rises above barriers of language and borders. To celebrate the power of music, the students of grades 6-9 performed a beautiful rendition of the song ‘Unstoppable’ by Sia. The music was played by the students on the guitar and piano. This was followed by a flute performance accompanied by foot-tapping beatboxing. More talent was showcased by students playing various songs on the guitar and piano. Everyone enjoyed themselves while singing along to the peppy music, raising the school’s happy quotient.
