Around 4000 schools in Jharkhand will be turned into ‘Schools of Excellence’, as said by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The upgradation will ensure that quality education is provided to all students of Jharkhand. Soren believes that if students are given access to the right resources, they will definitely flourish. As the conference of School of Excellence Management Committees was held earlier this week, the Chief Minister stressed on the potential of the state’s kids. He said that the students of Jharkhand were not lacking, but rather needed to be connected with the right resources.
“Our government has resolved to provide quality education to the students studying in government schools in the state. The children of Jharkhand will shine in education along with sports,” he said. At an initial stage, education will be provided in the CBSE pattern in upto 80 schools of excellence. In future 4000 more schools will be altered into schools of excellence. Inter-school competitions will be organized among the shortlisted schools of excellence. “The staff and students of the school that performs better will be taken on a tour to other states of the country,” CM Hemant Soren said.
