Johnson Grammar School, Kuntloor, had the distinct honor of hosting the CISCE AP & Telangana Regional Kabaddi Tournament (Girls) on the 15th of July, 2024. This grand event was graced by the presence of Dr. B. Mallikarjun Rao, the esteemed Chairman of Johnson Grammar School, LB Nagar & Kuntloor.
It was an unprecedented honour as the Chief Guest, Mr. Jagadishwar Yadav, the General Secretary of the Telangana Kabaddi Association, and the Guest Of Honour ,Mr. T. Anil Israel, President of ASISC AP & Telangana Region, Joint Coordinator for CISCE Sports and Games, and Principal of Johnson Grammar School, Habsiguda, alongside Mr. Ravi Kumar, Secretary of the Ranga Reddy Kabaddi Association, added to the prestige of the occasion
The opening ceremony was nothing short of spectacular, with 350 students from various ICSE schools gracing the event with their presence. 
The proceedings commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a floral tribute to the revered founder, the Late Sri SRN Mudiraj Garu. 
The skies were adorned with balloons, lending a festive air to the event. The formal games were inaugurated in a traditional manner, with the Chief Guest, Sri Jagadishwar Yadav, performing the symbolic breaking of the coconut.
This event transcended the boundaries of a mere tournament, serving as a vibrant celebration of athletic prowess and promoting a spirit of camaraderie among the participants. 
The eloquence of the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour encapsulated the essence of the day and undoubtedly left a lasting impression. The grandeur of the event and the unwavering spirit of the players made it a truly unforgettable day for Johnson Grammar School.
