Kanpur University starts courses for Class 8 Passed Students

Kanpur University, which has now been renamed to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), has become the first university to offer courses where class 8 and class 10 passed students are eligible to apply. It has started around 20 courses for students who have cleared classes 8 and 10.

For the courses intended for class 8 passed students, the candidates must be at least 12 years old. Dance, music, and other skills come under the purview of the new courses offered. A total of twenty seats have been allotted for each of the courses. The fee range is from 2000 rupees to 3000 rupees. After completing the courses, trained students will be able to get employment.
