The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has officially released the admission notification for the academic year 2025-26. Parents seeking admission for their children can now apply online via the official portal at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
The online application process for Class 1 and Balvatika (Levels 1, 2, and 3) will commence on 7th March 2025, from 10:00 AM, and will conclude on 21st March 2025, at 10:00 PM. It is essential to note that an application will be considered submitted only after the applicant receives a submission code from the portal.
Required Documents for Admission
Applicants must have the following documents ready in the specified formats:
– A valid Indian mobile number and email address
– A digital or scanned photograph of the child (JPEG, max. 256KB)
– A scanned copy of the child’s birth certificate, address proof, and caste certificate (JPEG/PDF)
– Government-issued certificate for those applying under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category
– Service transfer details of the parent or grandparent, if applicable
Admission Criteria & Age Requirements
As per KVS guidelines, the minimum age for Class 1 admission is six years as of 31st March 2025. Age requirements for Balvatika levels are as follows:
– Balvatika 1: 3 to 4 years
– Balvatika 2: 4 to 5 years
– Balvatika 3: 5 to 6 years
Seat reservations will be in accordance with the official KVS Admission Guidelines 2025-26. For applications under the Single Girl Child category, parents need to submit the form online with the required documents—no direct contact with the school principal is necessary.
