KIIT World School celebrated eco-friendly Holi

KIIT World School Gurugram celebrated Holi on the school campus with organic dry colors. Children applied colors to each other which shows the symbol of love. Children were seen drenched in different colors. Teachers sang Fagun songs and recited them to the children.

Rangoli competitions were also organized, and the children were taught about environmental conservation. Staying away from chemical colors is also advised. Teachers were informed about the importance of the festival and said that the festival celebrates the triumph of “good” over evil.

Neelima Kamrah, principal of the school said that Holi helps to bring the society together and strengthen the secular fabric of our country as the festival is celebrated by non-Hindus also. It also signifies the importance of colors in our lives in the form of happiness, prosperity, harmony, and peace. Also advised students to use gulal and save water.
