The National Award to Teachers (NAT) constitutes a distinguished honor bestowed upon exceptional educators within our nation. These awards recognize teachers who have demonstrated exceptional teaching prowess, made a remarkable impact on their student’s growth, and extended their educational service to the community beyond traditional classroom settings. These awards are presented every year, with the President of India conferring the award. The awards are presented on National Teachers Day, September 5th every year.

The awards ceremony is planned to take place at Vigyan Bhawan, in New Delhi, on the 5th of September, 2023. Every award recipient will receive a certificate of merit, a cash prize of Rs 50,000/-, and a silver medal. Accommodation and meals for the awardees have also been organized at the designated location. Additionally, a briefing meeting is scheduled for the 3rd of September, 2023 at the same venue.
