To encourage academic excellence, the Madhya Pradesh government will grant Rs 25,000 to outstanding Class 12 students who made it to the merit list in government schools. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will present the awards on February 21, 2025. This initiative supports students in their higher education and equips them with essential digital tools.
The state will transfer Rs 224 crore to the bank accounts of over 89,000 meritorious students. This investment in education aims to empower young minds, giving them the necessary resources to excel academically and professionally.
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced the Class 12 board exam results on April 24, 2024. Jayant Yadav topped the high school category. The board reported that 2,92,766 students achieved first division, 1,09,261 secured second division, and 422 passed with third division. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 in 2024 reached 64.48 per cent, improving from 55.28 per cent in 2023.
