The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the 2024 supplementary exam dates for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams. Candidates can see the timetable on the official websites: mahahsscboard.in/mr, mahresult.nic.in, or hscresult.mkcl.org.
According to the 2024 SSC and HSC supplementary date sheet, exams will begin on July 16, 2024. The Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary exams will be held in two sessions: session 1 from 11 am to 2 pm, and session 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. The Class 10 exams will conclude on July 30, 2024 while the Class 12 exams will end on August 8, 2024.
This year, in 2024, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 was 95.81%, which is an increase of 1.98% from the previous year. Konkan region topped the performance charts with a 99.01% pass rate. Out of 1,560,154 students who registered for the SSC exam, 1,549,326 appeared, and 1,484,431 passed. The pass percentage was 97.21% for girls and 94.56% for boys.
In the Maharashtra Class 10th Result 2024, 187 students achieved a perfect score of 100 percent. Latur had the highest number of top scorers with 123 students, followed by Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with 32, and Pune with 10. Mumbai had 8 students, Amravati had 7, while Kolhapur and Konkan each had 3. Nagpur had 1 student, and Nashik had none.
The pass percentage for fresh candidates saw a slight increase, with 93.37% of students passing their HSC exams this year, in 2024. However, the overall pass percentage, which includes fresh candidates, repeaters, and private students, is 91.87%.
Stream-wise, the science stream had the highest performance with a pass rate of 97.82%. In the arts, commerce, vocational, and ITI streams, the pass rates were 85.88%, 92.18%, 87.75%, and 87.69%, respectively. Specifically, in the vocational stream, the overall pass rate was 87.75%. Out of 35,849 registered students, 35,106 appeared for the exam, and 30,808 passed.
