A mundane and grim stagnancy is broken with National Education Policy 2020
Indian Education and its origin have been extremely diverse and broad in terms of its content and context. Our past stands testimony as Gurukuls emphasized upon training their disciples in survival skills. The aim and vision has always been to groom students and shape them as independent personalities. A similar vision must act as a driving force for the contemporary academic world.
Education is no longer a ‘show and tell’ game, rather its extensions and applications, are far beyond. Thus,
every Edu-leader should take up the responsibility of grooming 21st century global citizens, skilled in effective communication, strong leadership, and soft skills.
This ambition is as much a vision to resuscitate our grandlegacy and past, as much it is a strong foundation of a self-reliant India. This attempt to revolutionize education at large is to help liberate our mindsets that have long been a subject to imperial intellectual bondage. A mundane and grim stagnancy was broken when National Education Policy and crucial stakeholders decided to end the assembly line.
It is a team-effort that can help us see beyond the defined territory. Academic leaders have responsibilities and need not go ‘by the book’ but by a groundbreaking passion and persistent efforts to continue exploring the possibilities of constructive and creative change for the benefit of the children.
