Md Rumman Ashraf Tops the Bihar Class 10 Examinations.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Class 10 results. Candidates who appeared for the exams can check the results at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and results.biharboardonline.com. The Bihar School Examination Board examinations for Class 10 were conducted from 14 to 22 February 2023. A total of 16 lakh candidates appeared for the BSEB Class 10 examinations this year. Out of these 14 lakh candidates have passed the examinations. The overall pass percentage this year is 81.04%.
Md Rumman Ashraf emerged as the topper of the Class 10 examinations in the state of Bihar. He has scored 97.8% by obtaining 489 marks out of 500. Ashraf’s favourite subject is social studies and he aspires to join the National Defence Academy. Ashraf is a student of Islamia High School and lives in Ahiyapur village in Barbigha block of Sheikhpura district. His father Najibur Rahman is a government school teacher in Ahiyapur.
Namrata Kumari of Bhojpur District has achieved the second position in the BSEB Class 10 examinations. She has scored 97.2% by obtaining 486 marks out of 500. A student of Nirmala Shiksha Bhawan High School, Namrata aspires to join the Indian Administrative Services. She worked hard from the beginning of the academic session to secure a position in the top 10 merit list. Her teachers and family helped in her preparations.
Jayanandan Kumar Pandit achieved the third position in the state toppers list. Jayanandan scored 484 marks out of 500. He is a student of PB High School, Lakhisarai. His father Vijay Pandit is a paan stall owner while his mother Ranju Devi is a housewife. Jayanandan plans to opt for the science stream in his high school studies. He aspires to study at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
