Modern Public School associates with IB Board

MPS (Modern Public School) Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, is now associated with the International Baccalaureate (IB), the global leader in International Education to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and confident individuals.

Through this initiative, MPS looks to develop and educate its students with every skill necessary in the journey of life. Students and teachers of MPS feel privileged in this landmark tie-up.

MPS would implement the PYP (Primary Year Program) in  its curriculum. The PYP programme focuses on the inquiry-based, trans-disciplinary curriculum that builds conceptual understanding. It also reflects the best educational research, thought leadership, and experiences derived from IB world school.

According to Mrs Alka Kapur, Principal, Modern Public School, “Students need the highest level of education to be inculcated in their curriculum. The association  of MPS with the IB Board would give the young minds an edge over the challenges with high-grade skill-developing programs and personality development activities that will make them ready for the challenges of tomorrow.”

International Baccalaureate (IB) focuses on education based on students’ overall growth and academic excellence. It shapes the student’s understanding of self-learning capability, collaboration with teachers, and an innovative learning environment making them good communicators, receptive-minded learners, risk-takers, and balanced personalities. Also, their specialised curriculum engages the students and makes them ready for the inside and outside world.

This tie-up with the IB Board has made MPS upgrade its education structure. It focuses on bringing the essential attributes like caring, taking responsibility, out of box thinking, self-reliant studies, leadership, teamwork and knowledge about setting up a world which respects humanity through Intercultural understanding.
