A memorandum of understanding was signed on Thursday by A.P. Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (APSWREIS) with Azim Premji University , Bangalore for providing training classes to the principals and teachers working in Dr BR Ambedkar Gurukuls.
Speaking on the occasion , Secretary, APSWREIS Shri V Prasanna Venkatesh , IAS , informed that the principals working in Dr BR Ambedkar Gurukuls are being trained in direct and indirect methods on academic leadership and personal impact . He informed that if there is academic leadership, the management of the institution , teachers and students will lead towards success.
English , Mathematics , Science and Social Studies teachers will be provided with 5 days of direct and indirect training in pedagogy , competency- based education , learning standards and lesson plans .
The meeting held at the headquarters of APSWREIS at Tadepalli in Guntur district was attended by N.
