The authorities in the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh dismissed rumors suggesting the leakage of the Class 10 board examination’s Hindi paper on social media shortly before Monday’s exam. The administration warned of legal action  against those disseminating false information about the exam paper.

Manglesh Kumar Vyas, the district education officer (DEO) declared that the administration’s investigation found the claims of the Class 10 Hindi paper being leaked on social media were fake.

He said that when they compared the question paper circulating on social media with the original one, they found differences in the codes and questions.

According to the DEO, certain individuals, determined as anti-social elements, are spreading false information regarding the paper leak, and a first information report will be filed against them under the Information Technology Act.

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education commenced the Class 10 examination on Monday. A total of 49,000 students are participating in the exam across 137 centers in Indore. Notably, 21 centers have been identified as sensitive, with police personnel deployed to ensure security at these locations.
